Data in construction logistics
What makes us unique? We love data. And efficiency. Our construction logistics therefore starts long before the first truck arrives on site.
We are rethinking construction logistics: We record all logistics data relevant to a construction project and use this to calculate an accurate simulation of the construction process. The basis is provided by individual project data as well as publicly available traffic and environmental data. In addition, we integrate data from previous projects and use our own smart sensors to gather further insights during construction. As a result, the simulation develops dynamically and becomes more accurate with every additional piece of information.
Our approach is both individualized and focused on finding solutions
The expertise of our team lies in constructing a versatile and expandable central repository that houses diverse data sources. These sources encompass 2D/3D models, lean planning records, timelines, and meeting notes. Regardless of the project's organization, this data store has the capability to accommodate all pertinent information.
Creating value for a sustainable future
Through the utilization of our data services, we have the capability to assess numerous data sources in conjunction with the project plan. This results in the generation of multiple analytical viewpoints that can be accessed through a unified dashboard. Furthermore, our analysis module can be expanded to include 2D/3D modeling, allowing us to anticipate and forecast the material flow from suppliers to the construction site. This approach empowers us to establish logistics chains that are more streamlined and effective.
Our data services
- are designed to optimize the infrastructure, the capacity of vertical and horizontal transport systems, the requirements for on and off-site storage and the design of loading and unloading points, taking into account the cost-benefit ratio.
- take into account all specific logistics planning requirements of the local planning authority, including the effects of construction site traffic on public transport infrastructure, CO2 emissions and sustainable logistics planning.
- can be integrated into existing risk management frameworks to simulate and test appropriate emergency plans and ensure smooth operation.

“Our vision is to turn the planning and operation of construction sites upside down: We believe, the data-based optimization of logistics should be the guiding principle for managing a construction site in the future. For this to become reality, two requirements must be met: Data must be available promptly in sufficient quality and it must be possible to estimate the impact of logistics planning decisions on the construction process relatively precisely.”
